Copyright, image credits & takedown
We publish photographs and reference official information. This page states plainly who owns what, what we claim, and exactly how to get something taken down — no runaround.
1. We are not affiliated with anyone
Antewise China Travel Desk is an independent editorial project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the Palace Museum, the National Immigration Administration, the National Cultural Heritage Administration, any attraction, transport operator, hotel, app, or authority named on this site, and we do not speak for any of them. Attraction names, logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used here only to identify what an article is about. Any ticketing, booking or payment service mentioned is described factually; we have no partnership with it unless a page says so explicitly (see our affiliate disclosure).
2. Photographs belong to their photographers
Every photograph on this site remains the property of its respective photographer or rights holder. Photographs are published under the license named in the credit line beneath each image — for the current library, the Pexels License, which permits free commercial and non-commercial use. Each image carries its credit, license and a link to its source page. If you are a rights holder and believe an image on this site is yours and improperly licensed or credited, email us and it comes down — see section 4.
3. Fair use
Where this site quotes, screenshots or reproduces limited material from third parties — for example, an official price table or a short passage of a public notice — such use is made in good faith for purposes of criticism, comment, news reporting, reference and research, consistent with Section 107 of the United States Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 107), considering the purpose and character of the use, the nature of the copyrighted work, the amount used, and the effect on the market for the original. We always link to the original official source rather than substituting for it. Nothing on this page is legal advice.
4. Takedown notices and our designated agent
Copyright complaints may be sent to our designated agent at [email protected]. A complete notice includes:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- The exact URL on china.antewise.com where the material appears.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf — made under penalty of perjury.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next: we acknowledge valid notices within 24 hours and remove or disable access to the material while the claim is reviewed. If material was removed in error, a counter-notice with the same six elements restores it. Good-faith mistakes are fixed, not argued with.
5. Other corrections
For factual corrections — a wrong price, a changed opening hour, a dead link — write to [email protected]. We answer within 2 business days.
