How we verify
Antewise Editorial · China Travel Desk is an editorial desk, not a tour operator. We publish practical guides in English for people traveling in China — and we hold ourselves to a method you can check.
The three-field rule
Every price, deadline, quota, and rule on this site carries three fields: the value, the source URL, and the date we last verified it. If a number cannot be traced to an official source — a ministry, a consulate, or the operator itself — it does not get published.
- Fact
- 57 countries eligible for 240-hour visa-free transit
- Source
- National Immigration Administration policy page (nia.gov.cn)
- Verified
- 2026-10-16
What we do not do
- No invented first-hand experience. We do not claim to have ridden a train or eaten at a restaurant we have not. When we describe an experience, we say who experienced it and when.
- No scraped or padded content. Every page adds something a copy-paste aggregation cannot: a checked number, a specific door, a booking window, a judgment call.
- No vague prices. Floating prices (hotels, meals, transfers) are published as ranges. Fixed official prices (tickets, metro fares) are exact and sourced.
When facts change
Entry rules and payment limits change with little notice. We re-check the whole fact library quarterly, and correct ministry-level changes the same day we learn of them — the verified date on each fact tells you how fresh it is. The oldest verification currently in our library dates from 2026-10-16.
Corrections
Spotted an error? Email [email protected]. We answer within 2 business days. Corrections are logged, not silently patched — a corrected fact keeps its history.
Who is accountable
The accountable party is this desk and its published method — not an invented persona with a passport stamp collection. That is the same discipline our sister site, Antewise (game guides), has published since 2026: method over mask.
